The hubby and I recently took a trip to Tokyo and decided to stop off at the new Fortnum and Mason champagne bar located at Heathrow Terminal 5. The bar itself is clean and modern with high seats all around facing inwards. They swivel so you can face your partner if you choose! The waiters are polite and smartly dressed and will come round to take your order and check everything is OK. The food and drinks are prepared and served from the middle of the bar.
The prices here definitely are not cheap, however, the setting is lovely and slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main airport. It's a luxurious place to sit for an hour and relax before a long flight. For just over £30 we had crumpets, a glass of homemade lemonade, a G&T and a smoked salmon dish with rye bread. Check out the menu and pictures below to decide for yourself if it's worth a visit but in my opinion it's a great way to start a holiday in style!
